These formations were created from the spilt cargo of the Ice Prince, a ship that sunk during rough weather 42 miles off the Dorset coast in January 2008. The ship listed to 40 degrees before shedding 2,000 tonnes of timber from its deck. The planks were later washed up along a 15-mile stretch of England’s south coast. As the timber came into contact with sea defences the following configurations resulted.
